Over the past eight years, my journey as a therapist has led me to offering support to individuals and relationships as they navigate their unique paths toward a deeper self-knowing. My therapeutic approach is rooted in family systems theory, attachment theory, mindfulness, somatic therapy, and an awareness of internalized oppression.

I have completed two years of training in Hakomi somatic therapy which incorporates mindfulness, Internal Family Systems (IFS), relational repair, attachment theory, drama therapy interventions, and elements of sensorimotor psychotherapy. I have also completed training in EMDR, Ketamine-Assisted Therapy, MAPS MDMA-Assisted Therapy, Holotropic breathwork, and more. As a member of the C.G. Jung Society, I frequently incorporate archetypal work and dream exploration in therapy, aiming to illuminate the diverse facets of the self that steer our unconscious behaviors, thoughts, and actions. I also find the lens of neuroscience supports a scientific understanding of behavior change, and how the intelligence of our mind-body connection synthesizes important information that helps us survive, creates patterns of suffering, and allows us to thrive and shift so that change is possible.

Before venturing into therapy, my background was in filmmaking and visual art. I often bring creative tools into session to access intuition, flow states, and the unconscious. For the past 20 years I have delved deeply into meditation practices, music, yoga, and esoteric psychology. I draw from these practices to support you holistically as the complete, creative, and intelligent human being that you are.

My ancestral roots include people from Eastern and Central Europe, Ireland, the Sephardic Jewish diaspora, and the Nansemond tribe of Virginia. I found that when we connect and open ourselves to stories of those who came before us, we can better understand our burdens as gifts. I honor my ancestors through ritual and ceremony, art, dance, song, and food, as well as donations to causes that directly connect to my lineage.

I am committed to doing my work, and I intend to offer a welcoming and grounded refuge for those seeking a deeper connection with themselves. I am committed to self-reflection, ethics, and open dialogue. To ensure that I am seeing you as clearly as possible, I attend supervision in contemplative psychotherapy with Naropa University’s Uğur Kocataşkın, PhDc. For client protection, no PHI is disclosed in my ongoing supervision.

My hope is for you to come home to yourself and find that you are already whole, just as you are.
